The amazing six-stroke engine that runs on gas and water
Bruce Crower has devised a hybrid engine which runs on gasoline and distilled water. Four strokes are for gas, the other two are for steam. The beauty of it is it eliminates the need for a liquid cooling system, as the water cools the engine from the inside out during its expansion phase. This internal cooling also allows for increased compression ratios with regular-octane fuel. Brilliant!

Increases in licensing requirements on teenagers results in fewer accidents
I’m pleased to see that in news articles across the Internet today there is evidence which bolsters my repeated assertion that driver licensing requirements need to be increased in the US. New studies by researchers at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are showing that states with increased licensing restrictions and requirements are showing as much as a 21% decrease in fatal crashes by teenage drivers. Graduated licensing is a good start, but there is still more to do. Already, Jesse White of Illinois has announced his support for the changes. Maryland enacted them in 1999.
